Hatsune Miku’s signature long turquoise hair is particularly striking. This is tied in two long braids with the help of black ribbons. Typically, she wears headphones. The school uniform she practically always wears is sleeveless and consists of a short miniskirt and a long tie. She covers her forearms with some kind of arm stockings. On her upper left arm, Hatsune Miku has a red tattoo that reads as “01”, alluding to the first character in the series of Crypton Future Media-produced Vocaloids. The entire outfit, i.e. clothes and accessories are in grey, black and turquoise.

All in all, she portrays a 16-year-old android pop diva from the near future. And even though the Vocaloids don’t officially have a character because it would change one way or the other depending on the song, Miku has still clearly developed a character over time. So they describe their fans as very loyal and faithful. In addition, she is said to be very flexible, which suits her changeable nature. Moreover, many fans describe her as a humorous and funny person who is also said to be very confident and optimistic.
