NieR: Automata Cosplay

Developed by Platinum Games, NieR Automata was then published by Square Enix for PlayStation 4 and PC. It is the indirect sequel to NieR RepliCant and NieR Gestalt (NIER) and is set in the year 11945 during the 14th Machine War.

An enhanced edition of the game titled NieR: Automata Become As Gods Edition was released on June 26, 2018 for the Xbox One. The edition included the expansion 3C3C1D119440927 as well as other smaller DLC items. The same edition was released on PlayStation 4 and PC on February 26, 2019 and renamed NieR: Automata Game the YoRHa Edition. It also includes a number of PS4 avatars and dynamic themes.

Storyline

Each chapter contains various sub-chapters, some of which are only revealed after several playthroughs. They can also be played back using the chapter selection menu.

The events of the 14th Machine War unfold through three main perspectives, 2B, 9S, and A2, as the last remnants of human civilization battle otherworldly invaders. The struggle isn’t so black and white, however, as the androids begin to question their own motives and the world they live in as they run into difficult situations and moral dilemmas. Characters Nier Automata

Of course, NieR Automata is very popular with cosplay fans because the game is action-packed and the characters in the form of androids are simply attractive. Although there are other characters, the Androids are certainly the most featured components of the game. Here we present the most important participants:

• 2B Cosplay
  YoRHa No. 2 Type B (Battle) or 2B serves as the protagonist of Route A in NieR: Automata. She is a YoRHa android created to fight the machine lifeforms that have invaded the planet on behalf of the surviving humans. She served during the 14th Machine War.

2B is an all-purpose combat android deployed as a member of the YoRHa automated infantry. She is equipped with a variety of weapons for close combat and can attack from a distance with the pod support system. Her eyes are hidden under her standard military visor, which she rarely removes.

• 9S Cosplay
  YoRHa #9 Type S (Scanner) or 9S is the protagonist of Branches B and D in NieR: Automata, as well as one of the main antagonists and bosses of Branch C. 9S is a Scanner Android who served during the 14th Machine War. It has an attack function, but it’s an android that specializes in investigative purposes – a member of the automated infantry squad YoRHa that triumphs in hacking-based information gathering.
• A2 Cosplay
  YoRHa Type A (Attacker) #2 or A2 acts as the protagonist of Branch C in NieR: Automata as well as the boss in Branch D. She is also a main character in the YoRHa stage play. She is a prototype of the YoRHa android line, and combat data from her and her comrades was used to create the superior current lines, including 2B and 9S. She doesn’t like to talk and often keeps to herself. Three years prior to the events of NieR: Automata, she was a member of the first YoRHa squadron sent to Earth in the early years of the 14th Machine War as part of the Pearl Harbor defection. Her alias at the time was No2, which is analyzed as “number two” in automata. She was portrayed by Ruka Endo in the stage play.
• Commander White Cosplay
  She is the leader of the YoRHa command. Before the events of the main game, she sent A2, then number 2 and her squad to lead an attack on a machine server in Hawaii. Although none of the prototypes were expected to survive, the mission ended in success. As the only surviving YoRHa android, A2 was perceived as a traitor. The calm and collected commander of YoRHa units and director of the orbital satellite known as the “Bunker”. There’s a connection between her and A2. Despite being referred to as “Hardass” by 9S, Operator 6O notes that the Commander actually leaves her clothes strewn all over her private quarters and rarely grooms her body.
• Operator 21O Cosplay
  She is an android communications operator permanently stationed in the “bunker”. Their duties include sending instructions to YoRHa soldiers in the field and analyzing information. Personalities differ slightly between units. Operator 21O, in charge of YoRHa No. 9 Type S, is level-headed, cold and impersonal. She avoids 9S attempts at casual conversation and pays no attention to his compliments. In terms of personality, she is an opposite to the much more outgoing Operator 6O.
• Operator 6O Cosplay
  She too is an android communications operator permanently stationed in the “bunker”. Although her physical appearance is nearly identical to her peers, she wears braids in her hair for physical distinction. Operator 6O, in charge of YoRHa No. 2 Type B, is comparatively intelligent, friendly and personable. It is not unusual for 6O to contact 2B on informal matters regarding matters unrelated to the mission. A clear contrast to the more stoic and impersonal 2B and her colleague 21O. She can’t leave the bunker and is curious about what life on Earth is like. In Route A, a side quest opens with 6O requesting that 2B send her a picture of a flower from Earth. 2B can complete this side quest by locating a desert rose in the desert area.
