Assassination Classroom is a manga and anime series that packs a punch. No wonder this one is popular with cosplay fans.

One day there is a gigantic explosion and suddenly 70% of the moon is gone! It doesn’t take much guesswork to figure out what happened, as an octopus-like yellow monster confesses to the crime. This causes despair among the Japanese government and secret service, because the monster announces to attack the earth next.
However, it decides to be a teacher at Kunugigaoka Middle School from now on, more specifically Class 3-E. These students will be taught how to kill him. From then on, they affectionately call him Koro-Sensei and experience some pretty extraordinary lessons.

Nagisa Shiota is one of the main characters of Assassination Classroom and attends Class 3-E at Kunugigaoka Middle School. He guides you through the story and serves as the narrator, allowing you to experience the story from his perspective.
Nagisa is a very androgynous, petite boy. His hair is strikingly blue. He is rather reserved and speaks little. However, he is – perhaps for this very reason – an excellent observer of his environment. He then notes everything down pedantically to the last detail.

In terms of his personality, he is rather pessimistic and has little confidence in himself. However, he is always friendly and shows a very social behaviour.

The lack of confidence probably comes from the fact that Nagisa hasn’t received much encouragement at home. Because his mother always wanted a daughter to realize her own dreams and ideals. Accordingly, she raised Nagisa rather girlishly and as a result Nagisa is an androgynous boy. That’s probably where the long hair comes from, which Nagisa typically wears tied into braids.

Nagisa can hardly be ruffled and also has no problems with handling a real knife or karma. Karma Akabane is also a student at Kunugigaoka Middle School and attends Grade 9-E. Due to his violent behaviour he had been expelled from school for a while. When he is allowed back to school, he makes friends with Nagisa Shiota.
