Charmander is a small bipedal lizard. Its characteristics of fire are expressed by its orange skin color and its tail with the tip wrapped in flames. Charmander, like his evolutions Charmeleon and Charizard, has a small flame at the tip of his tail. The intensity with which it burns is an indicator of that Pokémon’s physical and emotional state. If the intensity of the flame decreases, it is weak and your health may be at risk. When it burns normally, Charmander is healthy and cheerful. If the flame of his tail burns more intensely it is because he is angry, and if the flame of his tail turns blue it is a sign that he has found a strong and worthy rival. If the flame disappeared or went out, Charmander would die.
