§1 Scope and definitions
(1) These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts concluded between CosplayHero and consumers or businesses via our online shop. The version valid at the time of the order is decisive.
(2) A consumer within the meaning of these terms and conditions is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly neither be attributed to his commercial nor to his independent professional activity (Section 13 of the German Civil Code).
(3) An entrepreneur within the meaning of these terms and conditions is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who, when concluding a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of his or her commercial or independent professional activity (Section 14 of the German Civil Code).
§2 Conclusion of the contract
(1) The presentation of the products in our online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but a non-binding invitation to place an order.
(2) By completing the order, the customer makes a binding offer. The contract is concluded when we accept this offer by sending an order confirmation by email or when we ship the goods.
§3 Prices and payment conditions
(1) All prices quoted include statutory VAT.
(2) Products shipped from international production facilities may be subject to additional import duties, taxes or similar charges, which must be borne by the customer. These are not collected by CosplayHero and may need to be paid to the relevant customs authority.
(3) Payment can be made either in advance, via PayPal, credit card, direct bank transfer or other payment methods offered in the online shop.
§4 Delivery and origin of the products
(1) Origin and delivery categories:
The origin and delivery conditions of the products depend on the respective product category:
- 3D printing products: Products from the “3D printing” category are manufactured directly in our workshop near Nuremberg and delivered throughout Germany within 14 days of ordering.
- Commissions and personalized products: Products in the “Crafting Services” category are individually and handcrafted in Germany. The production time varies depending on the effort involved and can take several months.
- Cosplay costumes, accessories and other items: Products not included in the above categories are shipped from our partners' international production facilities in China. These are delivered directly from the production warehouse to the address provided by the customer to avoid unnecessary shipping detours and storage costs.
(2) International deliveries and customs duties:
International products manufactured and delivered outside the European Union may be subject to customs fees, import duties or taxes. These are to be borne by the customer. The customer is responsible for informing themselves about the applicable regulations in their country.
(3) Data transfer for processing:
In order to process the order, the customer agrees to the transfer of his order and address data to our production and shipping partners.
(4) Delivery Times:
- For international products, delivery time is usually 2-6 weeks, but may vary depending on destination and customs processing time.
- For products from our workshop, delivery takes place within the deadlines specified in the respective product descriptions.
(5) transfer of risk:
The risk of accidental loss or deterioration of the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
§5 Right of Cancellation
(1) Right of Withdrawal for Standard Products:
For standard products, consumers have a right of withdrawal of 14 days from receipt of the goods.
(2) Exceptions to the right of withdrawal:
The right of withdrawal does not apply in the case of:
- Goods that have been manufactured according to customer specifications or are clearly tailored to the customer's personal needs (Section 312g Paragraph 2 No. 1 BGB).
- Sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if the seal has been removed after delivery.

§6 Retention of Title
The goods remain our property until the purchase price has been paid in full.
§7 Gewährleistung
(1) The statutory warranty rights apply.
(2) Note on international products: Slight deviations in color, material or workmanship compared to the product images may occur and do not constitute a warranty claim unless they affect essential properties of the product.
§8 Liability
(1) We shall be liable without limitation for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence by us or our vicarious agents.
(2) In the event of a slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability shall be limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.
(3) Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
§9 data protection
(1) The processing of personal data shall be carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
(2) Data necessary to fulfill the contract may be passed on to third parties, such as shipping service providers and production partners. Further information can be found in our [privacy policy].
§10 contract language
The contract language is exclusively German.
§11 Final Provisions
(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
(2) Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
